Children ages 8 and up are welcome to begin piano lessons. Adults may choose to follow specialized Adult Piano course books. All grades of students up to Grade Six Piano Conservatory are welcome.

I start teaching music using the Leila Fletcher or Alfred's beginners' books.

In Grade One, I begin to follow the Royal Conservatory of Music piano syllabus supplemented by popular music books. 2008 is the last year for the current syllabus requirements. New requirements have been set for the following year.

There are studies, scales, sight reading, ear training and theory to learn in addition to piano pieces.

All students must be willing to practice regularly: at least 15 minutes per day and five days per week.

Every student receives a private web page to keep track of their practicing and accomplishments.

Examination and certification can be arranged through the Royal Conservatory of Music.
